Year Round School
I get the feeling that everyone feels sorry for me when I tell them my children have year-round school. That's okay. People fear change. For all those people who give me pitying looks (which, apparently, I really loathe) let me just say: my kids ARE in school today. And Max slept in until 9, which meant one full, glorious, sunny, peaceful hour at my house this morning. In your face, traditionalists.

It does seem like year round school would be prefferable as a mother. Why the pity?
After we move it will be the first time I've had to deal with year round school. I've been dreading it simply because I have another kid on traditional, which means they are rarely on breaks at the same time, so I will have to spend twice the time and twice the effort (since they won't have each other) trying to keep them entertained. What a pain.
I hear that. But having all my kids on the same year round schedule... I don't know, I think I'm starting to like it. It'll be fine until Josh starts Jr. High (traditional).
