I remember homemade play-doh a lot in my childhood. So I have always felt a bit extravagant buying play-doh. Maybe it's the pioneer blood in my veins (use it up, wear it out, make it do or do without). But I don't think I'm particularly frugal in other ways, so I guess the play-doh thing is just one of those quirks. Anyway, I noticed that play-doh is 50 CENTS per can at Walmart right now. That means for a gallon of gas, I can buy 8! Sounds reasonable, no? We spent the afternoon yesterday making snakes and shapes.
