On the new blog (yes, go on over and check it out), we have a feature called Stuff We Like that I run. So lately whenever I see something I like, first I check if it fits with the blog sensibilities and then if it fits with the blog's intended audience in some way. Here are three things I really like that DON'T.
Upside-down water slide. Too much speedo time to justify showing it to lots of Mormon housewives. But really wild.
Rapture Alert. Hey, I am fully aware that Mormons have more than their share of curious beliefs about the second coming. This is just so... enterprising.
Weird hoodie. Perfect for the emo in your life.
Charlie Bit My Finger. That's not a metaphor. This didn't make the cut because I think it's made the rounds already. It's the accent! Forget tutoring, I should teach my kids to speak with a lovely British accent: that would give them a real leg up.

I think all kids are cuter with British accents, Ryan thinks they are all cuter when they speak in French. We might try for one of those.
So the Rapture Alert news story was just on NPR. The game show player guessed that some random story about cranial implants was real and that this one was made up.
